Botanical description and quarantine status of Solanum triflorum

Juss. Berries are juicy, green or yellow, up to 1.2 cm in diameter. Seeds are ovoid-round, laterally compressed; rounded at the apex, narrowed and somewhat elongated at the base, with a small beak. The hilum is faint and narrow. The seed surface is finely reticulate, with small cells. Color ranges from light yellow to light brown. Length 1.8–2.6 mm, width 1.3–1.9 mm, thickness 0.6–0.8 mm. Infests fields, orchards, kitchen gardens, meadows, and uncultivated lands; it is rarely found in grain crops, but grows abundantly in row crops, vegetable crops, and alfalfa fields. Distribution: In the Russian Federation, clusters are located in the Omsk Region and Altai Krai. Toxic properties: specified above.
