The First Lady of Nigeria allocated ₦5 million to farmers of Anambra State

The wife of the President of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has disbursed ₦5 million to beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Initiative Agricultural Support Programme in Anambra State. The funds are intended to develop and strengthen their businesses.

The funds were presented by the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Nonye Soludo, at the Light House in Awka. This followed the First Lady's official visit to the state last Thursday, during which beneficiaries of last year's agricultural program warmly welcomed Oluremi Tinubu and conveyed a symbol of support for President Bola Tinubu and his administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Renewed Hope Initiative Agricultural Support Programme is designed to support vulnerable households, as well as to expand access to nutritious food, particularly for nursing mothers and people facing food insecurity.
