The crop-row-connector 1.0.0 package for combining crop row data has been released.
The new tool allows for merging identified crop rows into a single structure. The developers have prepared a manual that helps users master the package by using specifically provided data for testing.
To get acquainted with the program's capabilities, two key files are located in the docs/test_dataset/input/ directory. The orthomosaic, upon which the test materials are based, is located in the docs/test_dataset/ folder under the name orthomosaic_test_data.tif. It is recommended to view this file, as well as to visualize the results — the joined rows and linear points — using geographic information system (GIS) tools such as QGIS.
Currently, numerous versions of the package have been released for various platforms and system configurations, including variants for x86_64, i686, armv7l, aarch64, s390x, and ppc64le architectures. The software is available in wheel file format, adapted for operation in various environments such as manylinux and musllinux, as well as for macOS.
