As part of a strategic partnership, the organizations intend to expand Ghana's presence in the global white sesame market and open up new opportunities for farmers and local communities, particularly in the Upper East Region. The agreement provides that Northern-Savanna will supply plots of various sizes with completed testing, licensing, and maintenance for participants in the Complete Farmer agricultural ecosystem.

Complete Farmer, specializing in agricultural technology and market access, will apply its expertise to strengthen production and supply chains to serve large orders. The companies emphasize that the cooperation is designed to connect producers with high-value markets, promote sustainable farming methods, and improve conditions in rural areas. The initiative also aims to build agro-industrial value chains integrating production, processing, logistics, and export channels.

The women-led agricultural enterprise Northern-Savanna operates on the basis of irrigated farming, focusing on regenerative and organic practices, processing, food security, and community development. Previously, the company reserved about 10,000 acres of land in the Upper East Region for organic farming to supply domestic and international markets. Currently, the enterprise is undergoing certification to operate as a fully certified organic commercial farm. The gained experience is planned to be used in the future to help small farms transition to similar standards.

In addition, Northern-Savanna has concluded agreements with international logistics and export structures to establish an organic crop enclave in the Upper East Region in 2027. The project involves the construction of infrastructure for growing, cleaning, sorting, processing, packaging, warehousing, laboratory testing, and customs clearance. This complex is designed to ensure direct wholesale supplies to European countries, Asia, the UAE, and America.

Northern-Savanna co-founder Golda N.A. Addo noted that the company's global goal is to ensure that communities involved in agricultural production receive real benefits from the value generated by their resources. According to her, the development of Africa's agricultural sector should be based not only on the production of raw materials for the whole world, but also on the creation of systems that allow local residents to thrive at the expense of these resources. The partners state that the cooperation will not be limited to sesame alone, but will serve as a basis for ensuring food security, creating wealth, and sustainable sources of income.
