More than 6,000 agricultural students will receive scholarships through the NSP-DBT system.

As part of a new initiative, more than six thousand students studying in agricultural fields will receive state support. The funds will be paid in the form of monthly transfers made directly to the students' bank accounts.

The National Scholarship Portal-Direct Benefit Transfer (NSP-DBT) system has been engaged to implement the program. The use of this tool is aimed at accelerating the payment process, which will ensure the timely receipt of financial assistance to cover the students' educational needs.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture leadership, this step is intended to strengthen the agricultural education system and expand opportunities for practical training for future specialists in this field. The total volume of distributed funds amounted to 21.35 crore rupees.
