In the Andimul Yanchouk area of Aanbuhaireni Rural Municipality-1 (Tanahun), the fields have filled with blooming marigolds ahead of the Dashain festival. Commercial flower growing in this area has been carried out for three years and currently covers an area of 45 ropanis. The project has brought together 45 local women, providing them with opportunities for entrepreneurship and financial independence.

The members of the women's group are engaged in collective growing, harvesting, and marketing of the harvest. According to group chairperson Suntali Gurung, harvesting and sales started on Saturday after entrepreneur Kalpana Gauli, who owns a souvenir shop in Damauli, ordered 50 kilograms of flowers. Such demand during the first harvest has boosted the women's enthusiasm and confidence in the enterprise's market potential. The price of the flowers is up to 400 rupees per kilogram.

The collective approach has allowed the participants to distribute labor, share experience, and efficiently use local resources. According to Suntali Gurung, expanding the areas, increasing production volumes, and entering new markets will help increase the women's incomes. Thanks to local production, the community has also reduced its dependence on flower supplies from other regions.

Santosh KC, who heads the agriculture department of Aanbuhaireni Rural Municipality, confirmed that marigold growing in Andimul Yanchouk has been ongoing for the past three years. He noted that involving women in this developing sector integrates them into productive activities and opens up sources of income. In his opinion, local production is provided with a ready market, and further development of the industry is possible through more organized cultivation and marketing.
