Dhanuka Agritech has launched a new herbicide for corn and sugarcane

Agro-industrial company Dhanuka Agritech Ltd has announced the launch of a new plant protection product called Tembotrax. This product is an early post-emergence herbicide containing the active ingredient "Tembotrione 34.4% SC". The novelty is designed for use in key agricultural regions of India for the cultivation of sugarcane and corn.

According to the company's official statement, Tembotrax belongs to systemic HPPD-inhibiting herbicides. Its mechanism of action is to disrupt the biosynthesis of carotenoids. This leads to noticeable bleaching of susceptible weeds while ensuring safety for target crops when application recommendations are followed.

The product provides a wide spectrum of protection, destroying both broadleaf and narrowleaf weeds in just a single spraying procedure. As Rahul Dhanuka, Managing Director of the company, noted, weed competition in the early stages of crop development poses a serious problem that negatively affects plant growth and overall farm productivity. The use of the new product makes it possible to effectively control weeds during the critical period and protect the yield potential.
