The main factors stimulating this growth have been the needs of the ethanol production industry (E20), as well as consistently high demand for grain from companies producing poultry feed. This transition to new crops has had a positive impact on the state of rural areas, ensuring their economic development.

Against the backdrop of the results achieved, farmers are expressing a need for expanded government support. Specifically, maize producers are insisting on the need to ensure guaranteed harvest procurement at Minimum Support Prices (MSP).
