Crystal Crop Protection has released the fungicide DOMINARIS for plant protection of grapes against downy mildew.

Downy mildew poses a serious threat to vineyards, as it affects foliage, shoots, inflorescences, and developing clusters. This disease can negatively impact the overall condition of the crop and reduce the quality of the harvest.

The new technological solution DOMINARIS is characterized by a dual mechanism of action. The product possesses pronounced acropetal movement (translocation from roots to the apex), resistance to rain wash-off, and provides long-lasting protection. The product's action extends to key stages of pathogen development, affecting both spores and germinated hyphae, which allows for limiting the occurrence and further spread of the disease.

The technology is designed to protect both existing and newly emerging foliage during critical periods of the growing season. According to company representatives, the product contributes to maintaining the health of the green canopy and the uniform development of clusters. This helps grape growers preserve the harvest at different stages of plant growth.

Chairman and Managing Director of Crystal Crop Protection Ankur Aggarwal noted that in the high-value crop segment, disease protection directly affects economic indicators and product quality. In turn, the company's Commercial Director for Branded Products, Sohit Satyavali, emphasized that DOMINARIS is focused on maintaining vineyard health throughout the entire season, rather than just combating symptoms that have already manifested.
