Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has acquired his own farm in Derbyshire

At the age of 25, Harriet Cowan has completed the purchase of Flatts Farm in Darley Bridge. The holding includes 100 acres of farmland, comprising 75 acres as part of the main estate and 32 acres acquired under a separate agreement. Previously, the property had been managed by one family for 80 years. The site includes a three-bedroom farmhouse and a stone barn converted into a two-bedroom dwelling.

Flatts Farm specializes in livestock and dairy production, although in recent years the focus has shifted to beef cattle. The new owner plans to develop a cattle fattening business at the facility, similar to her father's farm in Belper. In the future, Cowan intends to open an on-farm butcher shop to sell her produce.

Harriet Cowan's move to the new farm is scheduled for this autumn, together with her partner James Booth. The career change was made possible by a successful media career: Cowan gained widespread recognition after appearing in the fourth season of the Clarkson’s Farm project, where she served as a substitute for Kaleb, as well as through managing social media accounts, where her combined audience reached 1.5 million followers.

Prior to farming professionally, Cowan earned a medical degree and worked as a nurse, balancing shifts with working on her father’s farm. According to Cowan, her experience working on the Clarkson’s Farm show helped solidify her decision to develop her own agricultural business. The owner also plans to organize educational events for young people, particularly city residents, with the goal of promoting farming as a lifestyle and a source of food production.
