The Japanese company IKEUCHI, specializing in the production of industrial spray nozzles, is expanding the use of "Dry Fog" technology. This method involves creating an ultra-fine fog consisting of droplets with a diameter of 0.01 millimeters or less. Due to high surface tension, such particles bounce off objects upon impact rather than settling as moisture. The company achieves this effect by colliding water streams at high velocity.

In dairy farming, the technology is used for cooling livestock. Using fog with controlled droplet size helps maintain a hygienic environment in facilities, preventing the floor and animals from getting wet. It has been established that maintaining a comfortable temperature during periods of intense heat allows farmers to avoid a decrease in milk yield and prevent direct financial losses.

For crop production, the company has developed a system based on aeroponics. In this process, nutrients are delivered to the roots of crops not by immersion in water, but through the spraying of a fog containing fertilizer. According to the developers, the active search for moisture by plant roots under such conditions contributes to accelerating their growth.

Currently, agricultural and landscape solutions account for about 10% of the company's total sales. The technology allows for flexible adjustment of fog parameters, including its volume and particle size, which makes it possible to adapt the systems to specific production tasks.
